Certain preventions to reduce the spread of viruses can be implemented in plumbing and HVAC systems.
Touchless technologies are available to be used on existing and new plumbing and HVAC systems. UV lamps in duct systems, air handlers, fancoil units, evaporators, and UV lamps in commercial restrooms provide defense against microbial pathogens.
Fixtures such as: faucets, toilet and urinal flush valves, soap dispensers, hand dryers, and door knobs can be installed in existing and new restroom facilities.
